Looking for an oversized bucket hat pattern that is equally fitting for a cozy cabin stay or city trek? This one should do the trick. My current favorite fabric to use for it is thrifted sherpa fleece, but regular fleece or faux fur would also work great. It’s big, it’s bold, it’s extremely comfy.
Designed for beginner sewists, the Oversized Fleece Bucket Hat pattern is straightforward and speedy to sew while also fully lined for a professional looking finish (it's forgiving!)
Materials: You will need 1/2-2/3 yard fleece + 1/3 yard lining fabric, or 2/3-1 yard fleece. Please see fourth listing photo for details.
You will also need fabric cutting supplies, a sewing machine, a hand sewing needle, and matching thread
Sizing: The pattern download includes four sizes and a size chart for head circumferences 20.5"-26.6"
