About: In this 3-hour workshop, we will explore creating clothing using zero-waste patterns. Each student will choose a shirt pattern and the instructor will demonstrate techniques for assembly and discuss zero-waste design. Students will have the opportunity to explore clothing construction, working with bias binding, and fitting clothing.

Materials needed: Size S-L: 1-2 yards of 45-60" width fabric, Size L-XXXL: 2-3 yards of 45-60" width fabric; thread
Fabric recommendations: lightweight, non-stretch fabric such as cotton or linen will work best with the zero-waste methods we will be using in this class. Stretch fabrics are OK if the student is confident with them and/or with using a serger.

Please note there is a 3 student minimum & 6 student maximum for this workshop.
